Editorial word count is a max. of 250-300 words. There is also a limit on the amount of photographs submitted (2-3). Both of these restrictions guarantees The VALLEY Reporter is kept interesting for people to read and allows for everyone in the community to have a chance of getting their stories published. The editor will endeavour to place editorial corresponding with advertisements within The VALLEY Reporter on the same page. Articles specific to Roleystone’s not-for-profit organisations, community or sporting groups are published for free and are given a higher priority. Articles overtly advertising a business will not be published unless paying for an advertisement. Publishing will be at the publisher's discretion and dependant on availability of space.
If you wish to utilise this unique service please submit your articles, but if they are in other papers in the same form there is a chance we will not print them as our readers do not want to read identical news in different papers, depending on what the news is of course!
